A 2-foot diameter glass sphere containing a miniature alien ecosystem. The bottom half of the sphere is filled with bioluminescent plants crafted from glass and resin, their forms strange and otherworldly. These plants glow softly in shades of blue, green, and purple. The upper half of the sphere is filled with a specially formulated clear gel that suspends delicate, translucent creatures reminiscent of jellyfish or alien life forms. These creatures slowly drift through the gel, their movements caused by subtle temperature changes in the environment. The entire terrarium is mounted on a base containing a mechanism that gently rotates the sphere, creating the illusion of a self-contained alien world.
